Story
A werewolf is preying upon the denizens of a small town. The only people who know what it is, who understand what is happening, are children. A group of third graders isn't exactly the most credible source of information, especially when it comes to the fantastical. They grow up being ridiculed, shunned, bullied, and mistreated by their peers and the broader community.

I was actually impressed the detail in this story was great!! All of the weapons descriptions were accurate which shows the depth of study that I feel the author did ....including the use of dragons breath which I feel shows the depth of investigation that must have gone into this story. Thank you for a great story

Story
She and the dragon Perrell have arrived at Fairspell Academy, ready to begin their training. But the prejudices that plagued them in Scaldrift are even worse in the capital. Everyone thinks Eva’s from the wrong social class to become a dragon rider, and Perrell is far too small to become a battle dragon. How can they prove themselves if they’re not even allowed to try? It’s up to Eva to prove herself once more—but her magic behaves in strange ways. Eva wields earth magic, but she can also see air and fire magic. She might be able to mix the three—but that’s strictly forbidden.
