Story
Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a sprawling graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead. There are dangers and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack - who has already killed Bod's family…

Pure Magic !

I loved this book so much! It's pure magic ! Silas, Nobody Owens, the ghosts, the ghouls, the atmosphere in the Graveyard, the Man Jack, Miss Lupescu! Oh for the Death's pants! You have to read it, if you haven't! I will love Neil Gaiman forever.
“Step and turn, and walk and stay,
Now we dance the Macabray.” - chapter five. My favourite.
This full cast performance is exceptional, it took me there and it painted my world with caressing shadows and suggestive fantasies. Amazing production !

Story
In every generation, certain writers are chosen to be protectors of The Legendarium, a metaphysical library that exists at the nexus of the multiverse. Inside this library are doorways that lead to every world ever created in literature. There are forces of evil constantly at work to destroy the library and send the world back into an age of darkness. Now, in a time of growing illiteracy, two heroes are chosen to defend The Legendarium.

If you could sum up Neverwhere [Adaptation] in three words, what would they be?
Outstanding, Gripping, Immersive
What was one of the most memorable moments of Neverwhere [Adaptation]?
Memorable moments ? The death of the Marquis !! It's a strong scene to read, but listening to it was much more horrific. I felt like crying for him, even though I already knew the story. And the fight with the Beast. Amazing ! Then, above all, I would say every scene with Islington.
Which scene was your favorite?
I loved many scenes. One of my favorite, it's when the Marquis come back in time to save Richard. Another one is at the end, when Richard decide to come back 'home' and there is he, the Marquis, like he was waiting for him all the time. And, when Door opens the door for Islington, ohhh, it was amazing !! The list is long ...
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Hunter 's death was tragic. Then, I really felt sad and angry when Richard was left alone in despair, abandoned by Door, Hunter and de Carabas.
Any additional comments?
I appreciated all the performances. The entire cast was phenomenal, in my opinion. I think James McAvoy has done a brilliant Richard Mayhew, and Natalie Dormer was the perfect Door. Not to talk about Christopher Lee and the others, like Mr. Crup and Vandemar (they have very scary voices, great ! )... But. But... God bless Benedict Cumberbatch!! His voice has been a pleasure to listen to. It was like the feeling of hot chocolate on your tongue, or that of being caressed gently and slowly on the head. Intense.
