Five survivors find themselves on the planet Anyar, including Joseph Colsco, Mark Caldwell, and Heather Chen. Some others have different destinations. Cast away on a planet with bizarre physical features unlike anything on Earth, Dan and Liza Oglethorpe will never again set foot on Earth. They will never again talk with family and friends. They will never again see an ocean. They are thrust into a fantastical fate that eventually leads them, six years later, after dangers are overcome and a measure of peace is achieved, to a morning in a dry valley on an alien planet.

Regardless of the challenges she faced through her short life, she persevered and started her first year at college, rooming with her best friend Jill.

Great First Series
Reviewed: 10-19-21
I have been reading this authors books for the past two years. i joined with the later series and can see how he grew.
For these books, overall, not much to complain about. the first two books in this series are flawless and capture the imagination of the reader. the last book, feels a bit rushed. It would have been better to break it into two books for the storylines could be better finished.
good books and worth a long read.

Story
What do you do when you have the wrong superpowers? Magenta's older brother is a superhero. She's starting high school at the school where kids with powers go, including the famous Inscrutable Machine. Except, Magenta's powers are no good for fighting. Her potions are useful, not dangerous. Her other power is just humiliating. What Magenta has plenty of is determination, and she tries fighting a supervillain anyway. She fails. But for Magenta, failure is the beginning, not the ending.

Somewhat Sad and Somewhat Excited
Reviewed: 07-28-21
I am disappointed that the original main character wasn't in this book. i would have liked to hear about how she is dealing with the loss of her powers. instead we are treated to a new main character with unique powers.
The worst part of this audiobook was the narrator. She left in several mistakes and retakes. I hope that Richard gets the original narrator to redo this book.

My name is Sawyer William Vincent - I know, it sounds like three first names - but most people know me as the Red Raptor. Well, technically no one knows I'm the Red Raptor, he's just a bit more popular. Wow. Enough about my name. Let me start over. I’m a superhero - the legendary Black Harrier’s partner. Not sidekick. I don't care if I'm still in high school. We work together to bring down the city's most dangerous villains. When the Black Harrier gets a mysterious note, then goes missing in New York City, things are pretty much left up to me. But don’t worry...I’ve got this.

Batman clone.
Reviewed: 07-03-21
If you’re familiar with the Batman comics you recognize this story from the jokers I forget the actual title. However it basically switches the characters out the main bad guy is the joker. The Raptors are just the robins and the main superhero is just Batman.

Note to the narrator. Luffy’s name is mispronounced... wouldn’t notice it if I didn’t live in Japan and know the anime/manga that’s in the story.

Sandra managed to survive the first major incursion from the nearby Orcs, thanks in part to the help a certain half-orc/half-dwarf provided. However, Kelerim left her dungeon to seek out his father, leaving her all alone with just Winxa - her dungeon fairy - as company. With the loss of her new friend comes some opportunities, at least; she now has the freedom to craft whatever she wants, and the threat of her dungeon core’s destruction from outside forces is practically absent. She even has the opportunity to upgrade her core size.

Story
Eric was born in a world governed by the Great System, in the family of Aren Bergman, a respected miner from Orchus. But the joy of gaining a son was overshadowed by the newborn's terrible affliction. Eric was completely nulled-level zero and no characteristics points. The only things keeping him from dying were his tiny base supplies of "life" and "energy". The medicine woman who delivered Eric believes this to be the work of the evil spirit, Bug. Due to the peculiar laws of the Great System, Eric cannot use experience essences or characteristics tablets.
