An able projection
Reviewed: 09-27-20
Yuval once again offers an apparently all encompassing synthesis the history of science, philosophy and anthropology, but this time with the ambition to lift us and let us stand on the window sill of the 21st century, giving us a go at surveying the rapidly changing landscape in front of us. This unable the open-minded reader to try to understand and integrate the many ways in which the Future could pan out and what part we Humans may ...or may NOT ... end-up playing in it.
I'm nevertheless a bit disturbed by the lack of lengthy mentions of ecology in this book.
Obviously, it was not its object, and Yuval might be keeping material for yet another book, but given its impact on the great majority of non superhumans, it would have deserved a longer specific warning.

Story
Caedmon is proud to release this archival full-cast recording of Tennessee Williams's A Streetcar Named Desire. Blanche DuBois arrives at her sister Stella's New Orleans apartment seeking refuge from a troubled past but her ethereal spirit irks Stella's husband, the loutish Stanley Kowalski. Crudely, relentlessly, he unmasks the lies and delusions that sustain Blanche, until her frail hold on reality is shockingly severed.

An emotional journey!

Very well played!! I enjoyed the emotional intricacies of each character which were brought to life by the narrators.
My ninth grader is reading this in English literature. The subject matter seems more appropriate for upper high schoolers.
