I liked the practical examples & the way the information is presented. Helps us think through long held beliefs that can change & by doing so will improve our life experiences.

I listen to this over and over to understand who I REALLY AM. The insights into who we really are instead of who we always thought we were is the most valuable you will ever hear. The illusions of the world draw us into our own hell but understanding what Love is will save us!

I've been a student of A Course In Miracles for 6 months. I was led to it over a series of events in my life including my husband of 7 years suddenly abandoning. Me. I knew there was something not right with who I thought I was, I had sensed it for many years, He and I had a " special love" full of all the Ego" pursuits. I no longer want that in my relationships, He is off to pursue more of that right now but I know his spirit within him is leading him to truth because it leads all if us to truth if we would follow. I'm following it. It's the very purpose if my life! I know it's what will lead me out of hell and will empower me to help others out of hell. This book is immensely helpful on the journey. True & lasting Joy, Peace & Love are my goals and with a renewing of my mind am going to get there! I highly recommend this book!

So much of this is relatable to so many relationship difficulties. Many of us do well at suppressing our traumas in our 20s & 30s but by mid 40s & then 50s they Come after us! We repeat patterns trying to find that elusive happiness or take away the childhood programs we are now playing out. In my family, my father attempted suicide when I was 3 & there were 6 of Us children all under the age of 9. This was in 1970 so when he got out of the hospital it was never spoken of & our childhoods had everything from neglect to abuse but it was masked & we looked like an ideal family. For those of us who don't end up in Foster care or in trouble with the law & never see a dedicated professional it plays out in broken relationships, job instability & financial struggles. I too believe healing is always possible when we are willing to go within & reprogram our minds.
