Quick read with some special moments, but extremely predictable. Not a surprise in site.

I disliked the predictability of the story. I liked the strength Lily found for herself and that of her mother. I was not a fan of the constant reference to the physical beauty and sex appeal of all the main characters. It made the content less real and meaningful. I did enjoy parts of it and it kept me reading, but it was phenomenally predictable.

Reminds me so much of my own childhood with rural families and lots of Aunts and Uncles around. This story is like comfort food, warm mashed potatoes, good for the soul.

Good story with unique female heroine combined with a smut novel. It’s like Harry Potter meets Harlequin.

I liked the setting and characters a lot, but I was not a fan of the sex scenes. Just not my cup of tea.

Best actual science fiction novel I’ve read in some time. If you don’t like actual science, don’t read this one. Not a Star Wars read.

Definitely suspenseful and the reader must keep reading to discover the truth, but awful situations involving children is hard to read , and I was not buying the ending, just not my cup of tea
