Story
As Sloane and her best friend Avery continue to look into what happened, cracks begin to show in the relationship between Sloane’s parents and the Fosters, cracks that are directly related to the fact that both sets of parents have sons at Wildflowers High School who used to date Callie Davies, the young woman whose body was discovered beneath the bridge.

Great Story, Horrible Background Sounds
Reviewed: 10-12-22
The storyline is great! I love the different characters and the little bit of mystery that it gives you. MOST of the background music and sounds are fine, but there is A LOT of echoes when a line is read and it is super obnoxious. I would give it a 10/10 if they just removed the repetitious echoes.

Story
It’s been a decade since Trumanell Branson disappeared, leaving only a bloody handprint behind. Her pretty face still hangs like a watchful queen on the posters on the walls of the town’s Baptist church, the police station, and in the high school. They all promise the same thing: We will find you. Meanwhile, Tru's brother, Wyatt, lives as a pariah in the desolation of the old family house, cleared of wrongdoing by the police but tried and sentenced in the court of public opinion and in a new documentary about the crime.

Never really captured my attention

I had high hopes for this book, but never fully got into this book. Yes, there was mystery and some twists and turns, but I was missing the "edge of my seat" suspension or the "NO WAY" realizations. Still wasn't a terrible book by any means. Just not what I was expecting.
