Story
On June 5, 2002, 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart, the daughter of a close-knit Mormon family, was taken from her home in the middle of the night by religious fanatic, Brian David Mitchell and his wife, Wanda Barzee. She was kept chained, dressed in disguise, repeatedly raped, and told she and her family would be killed if she tried to escape. After her rescue on March 12, 2003, she rejoined her family and worked to pick up the pieces of her life.

The way she tells the story of her capture and her children after that is just inspired! She is such a honest person in her truth. And I admire her Tremendously! I understood on a level only someone that has had trauma in there life can. I did not suffer as she did but the level of suffering and trauma is Irrelevant when you’re going experiencing it. She is amazing beyond words. Thank you for sharing your life and love with the world Elizabeth ❤️

this is a great book to listen to you! I guess that's why it's called listen to our marriage. I don't think I can sit down and read this but listening to it wasn't bad because there's a lot of he-said she-said but the narrator does a great job!
