Story
Set in Southern California, Three Women in Paradise tells the story of passionate student Elektra Brooke. When Elektra becomes entangled in a mesmerizing romance with her enigmatic medieval poetry professor, Dr. Gina Caldwell, she believes she’s discovered paradise. However, this idyllic world rapidly spirals into a nightmarish inferno. Elektra enters a world where the boundary between life and death is terrifyingly thin. Guided by the ancient poet Virgil, she embarks on a chilling journey mirroring Dante’s descent into the Inferno, each step pulling her deeper into the shadows.

Amazing!

I was a bit skeptical about whether or not I would like this book when the author gave me an audiobook copy. It's not my usual genre. But, I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it. Abby Craden really brought the characters to life and I found myself wanting to stay in the car longer, or popping on my headphones to continue listening while walking around my property. It is so much more than a love story, yet I can't quite find the words to describe it without fear of spoilers. Love, friendship, fear, betrayal, poetry, and most importantly "Aphrodite's Tits"! That pretty much sums it up. Great book - I highly recommend the audiobook! Bravo Victoria, Bravo!

After spending more than a decade away from her hometown, she’d finally decided to move back in order to raise her young daughter closer to family. She was just beginning to settle into her new job when Ashley walked into an exam room at the vet clinic and back into her life. Adorable & very unique!

If you are a dog lover, you need to listen to this book! (even if you aren't, still listen!) Lila Bruce puts a unique spin on this adorable story of Moose, the dog and his mom. I thoroughly loved the commentary between Moose and his friends. Of course, there is also the human story as well. Awesome job, Lila!

HEA age gap
Reviewed: 03-30-22
An age gap story of a mentally abusive, serial cheating attorney Kendra and her always forgiving attorney spouse Bellamy. Until...one day Payton crosses their path and things are never the same.
While I liked Bellamy. sometimes I wanted to tell her to get it together! Payton was often the more mature of the two of them. Payton is so lovable with everything she does for her sister.
It's well written and has a HEA.
Note- this book has triggers for some people. Sexual assault and bullying.
I loved the narrator. I've never heard any of her audiobooks before, but will look for them on the future.
