Story
Some people just can't handle Vegas. My friend warned me that Vegas can turn the most straightlaced girl into a party-crazed slut. I didn't believe her. I've always been the straightest of the straight. Boy, was I wrong. I hate being wrong. My first morning in Vegas and I wake up in a hotel room with no memory of the night before. Oh, and there's a naked stranger lying next to me who gives a new meaning to the word hungover. Things go from bad to worse when I find a wedding ring wrapped around my finger.

Meh

I found this book to be just okay. The story was predictable, as were the characters. There were too many P and F words during the romantic scenes, which made it seem juvenile to me. The narration was not my favorite. Myles’ portion was very staccato, which I found annoying. My compulsion to finish every book I start is the only reason I stayed with it to the end.

AD 1192 - Sir Christopher de Lohr is Richard the Lion Heart's champion, a man the Muslims nicknamed "The Lion's Claw". Blond, battle scarred, and powerful, he is what all men fear. After the fall of Acre, Christopher makes a promise at the deathbed of a dying comrade to marry the man's incorrigible but wealthy daughter. Christopher returns home to marry the woman, but the only thing he is interested in is her substantial dowry. He has no use for a wife and resents being forced into the marriage.

Love the author and the story. The chapters were out of order in one section and there is no narrative for the epilogue. I was disappointed.
