All seems well, until the day after they arrive, when everyone in the house is struck down by what appears to be mushroom poisoning. The deadly dish proves fatal for one unlucky soul.

Whining narrator ruins an already not so great plot. A suitably more feisty - rather than whiny - narrator, would have made this more palatable. How do they choose these readers? Such a pity.

The worst narrator imaginable!

I like the author, and tried hard to tolerate this most awful narrator for as long as I could, but listening to him was tortuous! If I wasn't so desperate for something different during this stay-at-home corona time, I would have stopped sooner. As it was I kept skipping over passages and trying not to hear. It was awful.
