It was so hard to listen to at times as things just kept going badly for these dogs… wanted to give up but stuck with it hoping for a happy ending

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I applaud Harry for getting his family away from the toxic environment. The book was well performed and written. At times I wondered about some of the details being shared. But it’s his story to tell.

Story
Elsa is seven years old and different. Her grandmother is 77 years old and crazy, standing-on-the-balcony-firing-paintball-guns-at-men-who-want-to-talk-about-Jesus crazy. She is also Elsa's best and only friend. At night Elsa takes refuge in her grandmother's stories, in the Land of Almost-Awake and the Kingdom of Miamas, where everybody is different and nobody needs to be normal.

It got better if you stay with it
But honestly I just wanted to stop a few times
Thinking maybe I’ll give it another listen
And another chance

Ex-reporter Joe Winder had been working in the public relations department of a sleazy family entertainment park, The Amazing Kingdom of Thrills, when he chanced upon a news-breaking story inspired by the disappearance of two blue-tongued voles and the bizarre death of Orky, the killer whale.

Story
In early 2000, Adnan Syed was convicted and sentenced to life plus thirty years for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee, a high school senior in Baltimore, Maryland. Syed has maintained his innocence, and Rabia Chaudry, a family friend, has always believed him. By 2013, after almost all appeals had been exhausted, Rabia contacted Sarah Koenig, a producer at This American Life, in hopes of finding a journalist who could shed light on Adnan’s story. In 2014, Koenig's investigation turned into Serial, a Peabody Award-winning podcast with more than 500 million international listeners.

This book fills in much of the story not on the various podcasts.
I leaves you with hope for Adnan and the other's who are innocent and wrongly imprisoned.
Rabia's voice is lovely to listen to and she is an amazing friend and advocate of Adnan.
I very much enjoyed the book and look forward to the sequel! Where we find out what Adnan does with his new found freedom. As I know the tide has turned and he will be free.
Very well written for a first book!
