Story
When 15-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing, not even a smear of blood, to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

Different from the movie

Would you consider the audio edition of City of Bones to be better than the print version?
Yea i think that the narrator really drags u in and helps u follow a lot of the conversations... though i may be biased because if i had time i would have rather read it myself.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character was Maginus he is a smart beautiful interesting and fabulous character :)
What about Ari Graynor’s performance did you like?
i really did like her even though she's the only narrator to give Jace a sorta english accent.
Any additional comments?
if you are reading the book to compare it to the movie u are in for a rude awakening! these are two diffrent entities and for good reason... though i will say i love all the detail in the book compared to the movie :)

Story
What would happen if an author went back to the darker themes of the original fairy tales for his plots, and then crossed the Disney princesses with Charlie's Angels? What's delivered is The Stepsister Scheme, a whole new take on what happened to Cinderella and her prince after the wedding. And with Jim C. Hines penning the tale, listeners can bet it won't be "and they lived happily ever after."
