Story
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Very Biased
Reviewed: 03-21-20
The author is very Biased and this is apparent very early on. I listened to the whole book hoping at some point that he would acknowledge these biases but never does. Some of the research was interesting but didn't feel the author looked at more than two sides of any argument, when these were all very complex and multi faceted examples. Overall a waste of my time.

10 Stars!

I'm a big fan of the podcast and was worried it may feel like a repeat, but the stories were woven in with Mike's own life. Highly recommend!

Story
Riley Kennedy’s emails keep getting crossed with her male colleague, Kennedy Riley. The infuriating man forwards them along with his annoying commentary and unsolicited advice. At least she never has to see him in person, since they work in different locations…until they come face to face at the office holiday party.

Too cheesy

Pretty smarmy and predictable. I wouldn't pay money for the story, maybe the library, but really a waste of time.
