Story
Recon Marine Conor McCall didn’t expect action during his training op in the icy waters off Norway. But when a bizarre summer fog engulfs his boat, he and his team find themselves in a fight against strange, cruel monsters from the depths of the North Sea. When even their allies are enemies, the Recon Marines must do what they have always done: adapt or die. But with a world of ice and monsters seeking to destroy them, every second is mission-critical.

I was never big into the whole fantasy monster lure but this pulled me in from the 1st chapter. The action and violence starts with in the 1st chapter an keeps on rolling. 1st time of hearing of this author, Nick and Jason picked a great author to include on the War gate series.

Another great ride with another amazing cliffhanger ending. Never dull moment in this dumpster fire of a galaxy.
