Used as a source of power since ancient times, from the Greeks to the Egyptians to the Persians, the moon has always been magical. It was viewed as a connection to the natural world, because our ancestors all knew one important thing: The moon brings light to the darkness.

Story
The world is not always a nice place. Sometimes, it can be downright treacherous. That means sometimes you'll have to protect yourself, and other times you'll have to make your own justice. Hoodoo is old North American folk magic, born from the African spiritual traditions brought to the New World by slaves. Over the centuries it incorporated Native American and European influences, using what worked and discarding what did not. What is left is an adaptable, powerful magical system that works.

Excellent!

I listened to this book on Audible and loved it so much that I purchased it in paperback. The first few chapters go into some detail about the history of Hoodoo and how and why someone mainly choose to practice it. The spells are simple with items that are fairly easy to get your hands on. This book is appropriate for both beginners and people who are already familiar with the craft.
