This story was so funny and cute and I definitely did not expect the ending. Vera was a busybody for sure but he antics came from a good place for the most part. I loved the found family & the various Asian cultures included in the book. One of my favorite reads this year. The narrator was fabulous

Our families believe a marriage pact is the only thing that will prevent all-out warfare. I think I might need to murder him while he sleeps. This would all be a lot easier if Callum wasn’t so damned good-looking.

The story was decent & definitely kept me interested, but for a mafia romance I guess I expected it to be darker and more filthy. I liked the characters but didn’t love the male narrator. Probably wouldn’t go back and read the rest of the books in the series.

This story is so boring. The characters have absolutely no chemistry. Damon is a liar and kind of creepy honestly. Bethany seems so desperate for Damon and has just barely met the guy. I’m all for instalove & attraction from day 1 but this is unbelievable entirely. & why is it only narrated by Damon but is following Bethany & talking from her POV???

This story was so sweet & interesting! I loved that it included romance but the main characters romance wasn’t the entirety of the book. There was this mystery surrounding her aunt and what would happen with her gift and it keeps you interested in finding out something other than if they get their happily ever after. I loved the Asian culture & the Aunties.
