Story
The day has finally arrived: Mitchell Wate and Lillian English are getting married. Everyone has come together - Ethan and Lena, John and Liv, even Link is back in town - and there's enough pie to make Amma proud. But despite the joyous occasion, Ethan can't help but worry that something feels...off. When Siren-turned-Hybrid Caster Ridley blows into town unannounced, Ethan's suspicions are confirmed.

Story
Petite though she may be, Zuzana is not known for timidity. Her friend, Karou, calls her "rabid fairy", her "voodoo eyes" are said to freeze blood, and even her brother fears her wrath. But when it comes to the simple matter of talking to Mik, or "Violin Boy", her courage deserts her. But Zuzana is determined to meet him, and she has a fistful of magic and a plan. It's a wonderfully elaborate treasure hunt of a plan that will take Mik all over Prague on a cold winter's night before finally leading him to the treasure: herself!

Where does Night of Cake & Puppets rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
In the top 25 audiobooks that I've listened to. The musical accompaniment was a perfect mood setter/enhancer.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Night of Cake & Puppets?
I love how they met and all these things they did for each other to eventually end up in a boat, drinking tea and eating chocolate cake.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Zu was the one who put herself out there by placing a map in Mik's violin case, it was her way of asking him out/finding out if he liked her too.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have but almost three hours was a bit longer than I wanted to listen straight thru. I broke it down into two parts.
Any additional comments?
Loved the atmospheric charm combination of the authors' words and the wonderful audio track. The characters' voices and accents were great and the music was a perfect accompaniment.
