Tragic story tainted with heavy left wing bias

I’m genuinely baffled by the authors decision to insert liberal propaganda into this story of a maritime tragedy. Every time the author breaks the story to dedicate a chapter to liberal leaning conjecture it feels incredibly forced and it does not fit with the flow of the story at all. You can hear the ax being ground in the background.
