Liked the story, not crazy about the reader
Reviewed: 05-23-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Private Berlin to be better than the print version?
I have only listened the audio book, not able to compare. Probably should read so as to make the comparison.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Private Berlin?
Many memorable moments, Cris' death in the slaughter house, spooky. The car chase scene was easy to visualize brought about by the many twists and turns in the story line. The Private Berlin office was graced with only a few moments of Jack Morgan expertise.
What does January LaVoy and Ari Fliakos bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I can't say I'm crazy about the readers when comparing to other audio book readers. Maybe better choices available. Ms. LaVoy was not believable in the characters changes. Mr. Fliakos character was annoying, However, overall, did enjoy the audio book,
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would find any audio book difficult to listen to in one sitting, but did listen to often as I performed my exercise program.

It is The Campus. Secretly created under the administration of President Jack Ryan, its sole purpose is to eliminate terrorists and those who protect them. Officially, it has no connection to the American government - a necessity in a time when those in power consider themselves above such arcane ideals as loyalty, justice, and right or wrong.

In God Wants You Happy, Father Jonathan Morris replaces the unsatisfying, fleeting solutions we receive from the New Age self-help industry with the simplicity and depth of authentic Christian spirituality. In his work traveling the world for FOX News and in his parish work in New York City, Father Jonathan could not understand why people were choosing the vague and sometimes harmful advice of the self-help gurus and ignoring the tested and true help the Christian faith offers.
