Story
Alexei Navalny began writing Patriot shortly after his near-fatal poisoning in 2020. It is the full story of his life: his youth, his call to activism, his marriage and family, his commitment to challenging a world super-power determined to silence him, and his total conviction that change cannot be resisted—and will come. Patriot is Navalny’s final letter to the world: a moving account of his last years spent in the most brutal prison on earth; a reminder of why the principles of individual freedom matter so deeply; and a rousing call to continue the work for which he sacrificed his life.

This novel is very engaging and it's beautifully written. I could see the images in my mind as I listened to it. Of course, listening to the voice of Academy Nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo, is an unforgettable and unique experience in itself, which in combination with the story provided a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this book.

Sad and insightful

I learned a lot from Matthew Perry’s experiences and struggles. I now have a much better understanding of people who fight with drug and alcohol use every second of their lives. A very heartbreaking and honest portrayal of his life. I could feel the emotions as he was describing them. He is a very talented writer. And very brave to keep fighting. Admirable.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I truly wish all the best for Prince Harry, his wife and children. So sad to have been treated so poorly by the press but even worse to not have the support of his own family. His story made me have a new appreciation and respect for public figures.
Prince Harry, I don’t have much. But what I have I will share with you, your wife and children any time you wish.
