Would you consider the audio edition of The Towering World of Jimmy Choo to be better than the print version?
To be honest, I have not read the print version so unfortunately I cannot make the comparison but based on just the audio edition I would say I was greatly pleased with the amount of detail and information this audiobook gave you on the life of a luxury shoe as seen through the eyes of one of the most successful luxury shoe companies of the world. It was never boring and yet was jampacked with very useful information and inspiration for aspiring and established shoe designers.
What other book might you compare The Towering World of Jimmy Choo to and why?
Perhaps the audiobook on Coco Chanel by Justine Picardie which was also part autobiography part fashion history.
What does Rosalyn Landor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Sincere Candidness about the main characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes I did actually!
Any additional comments?
Highly recommended for fashion designers and fashion enthusiasts. A world of lessons there for people in the luxury fashion business.
