Story
Ethan Winter has known since he was a kid that he wants to work for the FBI. Until then, he's stuck modeling underwear and photographing cheating spouses for a private investigator. But when a trip to Las Vegas for a security conference brings him into contact with the magnificently dominant Maxmillian Poole, Ethan finds himself faced with a dilemma: pursue his childhood dream, or become the partner of a man who seems to know him inside and out - and who offers a life any submissive would crawl for.

Story
I woke up five hours late after a reckless one-night stand with the sexiest, cockiest, and most arrogant man I’ve ever met. My top two clients for my PR company left to my number one competitor, my roommate "accidentally" bleached my favorite suit, and my favorite coffee shop was shut down for "health concerns". Still, none of those things dimmed my excitement for what was supposed to be the best four o’clock signing session of my career. Then that sexy, arrogant one-night stand stepped into my office with a familiar smirk and introduced himself as my new, cocky client....

Enjoyed it

I enjoyed it but I didn’t love it. Not Whitney G’s best in my opinion.
Ryan, is a cocky billionaire known for his outlandish behavior. Every publicist that has worked with Ryan ends up severing there ties with him due to noncompliance.
At the request of his frustrated brother and the board of directors ready to fire him, Ryan finds a small firm willing to take him.
Penelope knows little to nothing about her new client that is until he walks into her office the next day. Shock and dismayed that her new client happens to be her one night stand, Ryan.
I have to say that this story didn’t do it for me. Ryan wasn’t just cocky, he came off as shallow and childish. It didn’t matter that he was the face of his company. The only thing he seemed to care about was himself.
Penelope a successful publicist smart and witty eventually pulls off the unthinkable with Ryan. Although it was an uphill battle getting him to toe the line.
The sex was subpar at best but there were a lot of witty banter that I truly enjoyed and laughed at. The story although engaging lack a dramatic affect. And the money that Ryan seemed to drop on Penelope’s firm made it hard for me to believe. But, what do I know.
I wasn’t put off by the story so I will continue to listen to or read more books by this author.

Story
Infamous for satisfying his limitless wants and desires, Christopher is a free man again. And this time he’s on a mission to engage, deceive, and seduce the one woman as ruthless as he is when it comes to dangerous games of passion.… Far from innocent in the ways of men, Maria is one step ahead of Christopher’s every move. It doesn’t mean she isn’t enjoying every delicious look, every unbridled kiss, every moment of abandon. Neither of them could have imagined the moment when they would meet their match - or that they would surrender to each other again and again....

I’m loving this series

This story was much better than the first one. Maria was a force to be reckoned with. She definitely wasn’t your typical pushover. She was smart, brave, intelligent, witty, and a true vixen. Christopher her spy/love interest was no match for Maria, although he tried. He had his moments but whenever he thought for sure he had the upper hand Maria in true fashion would turn the table on him. Loved how he craved for her. He couldn’t use sex to get what he wanted but it didn’t stop him from trying. The sex scenes were wonderfully done, hot and intense.
