Story
An unabridged reading of the brand-new novel based on a storyline by Douglas Adams. The Doctor promised Romana the end of the universe, so she's less than impressed when what she gets is a cricket match. But then the award ceremony is interrupted by 11 figures in white uniforms and peaked skull helmets wielding bat-shaped weapons that fire lethal bolts of light into the screaming crowd. The Krikkitmen are back.

Captures to essence of Dr Who
Reviewed: 02-19-15
Harvest of Time took me back to my childhood watching John Pertwee playing the Dr on TV.
The characters are very much from that era although there's nothing in the story to date it precisely in earths history other than similarities with events happening at that time.
Reynolds captures the style of those old TV shows perfectly, fair departure from his other books.
This is a typical 'Radio Drama' style of story, but was great fun, the sort of story that you can dip into between other things without losing track of where you are.
All in all a great, fun read.

Great Book to read before you see the movie.
Reviewed: 02-01-12
Our whole family listened to this in the car before seeing the movie. This actually made the movie more enjoyable as it follows the book quite closely. It help connect some of the plot points in the movie that would have been a bit puzzling where some crucial connections had obviously been left on the cutting room floor.
Jeff Woodman must narrate other books for Scholastic as the performance took me back to my school days.
A great family read.
