Story
While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

Fascinating

I found this to be an exciting book full of thought provoking ideas and possibilities-even if they seem a bit far fetch. I think the characters were well developed and like some other reviewers I developed opportunities to listen to the book. Highly recommend!

Story
Nate O'Riley is a high-octane Washington litigator who's lived too hard, too fast, for too long. His second marriage in a shambles, and he is emerging from his fourth stay in rehab armed with little more than his fragile sobriety, good intentions, and resilient sense of humor. Returning to the real world is always difficult, but this time it's going to be murder.

Grisham: Great Reading
Reviewed: 10-03-03
I found The Testament to be one of those John Grisham stories very hard to leave for very long. This is a long audio book and I found myself at every opportunity going back to listen to even a few minutes. Grisham is a master of story telling. I felt like I was right there in the Brazilian outback with Nate, with the snakes, gators heat and Rachel- what a story. I just finished it on my way to work this morning and hated to have it end. I found it a wonderful Grisham and recommend it highly!

Story
Being President doesn't make things any easier, Jack Ryan finds out, especially when trouble's brewing in Moscow and China. Blending the exceptional realism and authenticity that are his hallmarks with intricate plotting, razor-sharp suspense, and a remarkable cast of characters, this is Clancy at his best - and there is none better.

Classic Clancy
Reviewed: 10-03-03
I have listen to many Tom Clancy books on tape in the past and this is classic Clancy all the way. He paints that picture in your mind of the tension and possible war about to rage out of control between China and Russia, all the while giving you details of the war machine that makes it all seem so real. This flows smoothly and I had a hard time hitting the stop button. Recommend!
