Great story containing so much information about the Wright brothers that I never knew. But no, should stick to writing not reading.

This is among the best Audiobooks I have read. The book gives a day-by-day retelling of how Eichmann was discovered, captured, and brought to Israel for trial. It reads like an exciting novel that is hard to put down. While the historal facts are widely known the details are not and I found them amazing. The performance is just right too.

Lewis is a terrific financial writer but the book is not nearly as good as some of his other works. There is so much about other countries that could have been included.

The best part of the book was the opening 15 minutes. It went downhill from there. Every tired euphemism is included. The ending is inconceivable. Thus far this is the worst book I have ever had on Audible. Don't bother with this turkey - try something else.

For those wanting to round out their understanding of the finacial abyss we faced in 2007-08, this book is an excellent addition to The Big Short and Too Big Too Fail. The other two drew me into the events in more riviting narratives. I recomend reading them first. But Paulson was in the middle of things; this book completes the story. I was not a big fan of Paulson before this book. I now understand and appreciate why he, Bernanke, and Geithner did what they had to do. His suggestions for fixing the system are too mportant to miss. Unfortunately, special interests and their lobbyists will never let those corrections go forward.

Be prepared to endure every trite expression ever woven into a story. An implausible story with an incomplete and implausible ending. Robert Ludlum light.
