The year is 2047, and teleportation is the cutting-edge transportation method of choice - Teleportation Services International (TSI) operates facilities in all of the world’s major cities. When Lillian, a TSI employee, wins a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation, she knows it’s just a photo op for the tech giant, but she takes the opportunity and books a trip to Tokyo with her husband Jackson and their six-year-old son Cole. But before they arrive, tragedy strikes: Cole disappears in transit.

Enjoyable minus the massive amount of F bombs near the end
Reviewed: 02-09-23
I really enjoyed this book though plot wise it did drag after the first 1/3 of the book. Without spoilers the main characters actions are a bit frustrating after a while. Also I thought this was a teen rated book but listening to over 50 Fbombs near the end from a certain character changed my mind. I would have given the story 4 stars otherwise.

Story
Monica Swanson knew she'd tapped a heartfelt concern when nearly two million readers shared her blog post, "What a Teenage Boy Needs Most from His Mom". In this helpful audiobook, she takes mothers deeper into the insights they need for the boy-raising journey, covering topics from dealing with the daily influences of friends and technology to helping a boy grow to be physically, spiritually, and emotionally healthy. She also addresses learning and finding passions, perspectives on relationships and dating, and work ethics and money management.

A book I’ll refer back to as time goes by…but title is misleading

I did enjoy the book and it gave great advice on raising good kids. My biggest critique is that I don’t feel it catered to what specifically boys need…I’m a first time mom with a first born son and was hoping for more boy related topics rather than generalized raising advice in all stages of his life. Again, it is a good book with strong values and great interactive elements to each chapter. I gave 3 stars for performance because the reading sounded auto tuned in parts and I wasn’t a fan of the second voice reading the question parts.

Great book for new moms and scripture based!

This book was better than I expected! One I’m also happy to have to listen to again to be reminded as my child grows up. The scripture referenced was a huge encouragement and a reiteration of what my husband and I want to reflect for our kids. The audio version was also pleasant to listen to, the author has a really engaging reading voice :)
