Story
In The Patient Will See You Now, Eric Topol, one of the nation's top physicians, examines what he calls medicine's "Gutenberg moment". Much as the printing press liberated knowledge from the control of an elite class, new technology is poised to democratize medicine. In this new era, patients will control their data and be emancipated from a paternalistic medical regime in which "the doctor knows best."

What made the experience of listening to Red Notice the most enjoyable?
The story. Its amazing and yet not surprising that this sort of political corruption still occurs in a country that we wouldn't necessarily consider "3rd world". Why would anyone in Washington trust Russian/Communistic leadership?
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
Amazing that this
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
I found the real reason behind the Russian adoption ban fascinating. Not at all what was portrayed in the local media.

Story
From the celebrated author of The Secret Life of Bees, a magnificent novel about two unforgettable American women. Writing at the height of her narrative and imaginative gifts, Sue Monk Kidd presents a masterpiece of hope, daring, the quest for freedom, and the desire to have a voice in the world - and it is now the newest Oprah’s Book Club 2.0 selection. Hetty “Handful” Grimke, an urban slave in early nineteenth century Charleston, yearns for life beyond the suffocating walls that enclose her within the wealthy Grimke household. The Grimke’s daughter, Sarah, has known from an early age she is meant to do something large in the world, but she is hemmed in by the limits imposed on women.

Story
It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

What did you like best about The Book Thief? What did you like least?
I really tried hard to listen to this book. Went all the way to Chapter 8 and just had to stop. Maybe it's just me. I really didn't want to give it three stars but would feel bad about a 2 star review since the rest of the world seemed to love this book.
Any additional comments?
Why do the majority of narrators on Audible have foreign accents? Tired of the foreign narrators.
