Couldn't stop listening
Reviewed: 02-25-07
This book is one that I couldn't put down(since it's audio, couldn't stop listening). But I was sorry when the novel ended. Wonderful how the author makes the reader take an honest look at current economic and social issues in the US while telling a fascinating story. This is the fist time I've read one of his novels and I want more. Try it, I guarantee you'll be wisked away into this intriguing novel.

Best Book I've read-changed my life

The book is a powerful guide for changing your life. Her teachings are simply stated and in harmony with past great teachers. Katie is an average American lady who finds the truth and is capable of presenting a path for other average people to follow if they chose. I believe my life has improved immensely from following the simple but profound teachings presented in this book.

Willy, the main character written in the first person is a "human" hero who can laugh at himself (as the reader laughs with him). His thoughts and remarks reveal a flawed person (aren't we all)who despite himself performs courageous acts. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Excellent characters revealing their personal emotions during a turbulent time in American history. I would buy another book purely because it was written by this talented author.
