Story
To the wider world, Al Pacino exploded onto the scene like a supernova. He landed his first leading role, in The Panic in Needle Park, in 1971, and by 1975, he had starred in four movies—The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon—that were not just successes but landmarks in the history of film. Those performances became legendary and changed his life forever. Not since Marlon Brando and James Dean in the late 1950s had an actor landed in the culture with such force.

Story
A novel written by Ellie’s first love, Jack Bennett, tells the story of a young man and woman who meet at the water’s edge and fall madly in love, only to have their romance cut short by forces beyond their control. Ellie quickly realizes this is no ordinary story; it’s their story. Captivated by Jack’s words, she immerses herself in the pages, reliving the adventures they shared that magical summer. To her astonishment, hidden among the tales of star-gazing and stolen kisses is a detail that has her questioning everything.

Really nice story. Good character differentiation by narrator.

The narrator didn’t enunciate d’s before n’s. She did a great job, but it was distracting. Didn’t became dinnent wouldn’t become wonnent . That is the only constructive criticism I’d give, otherwise, great story, great narrator .

Story
Anthony Fauci is arguably the most famous–and most revered–doctor in the world today. His role guiding America sanely and calmly through Covid (and through the torrents of Trump) earned him the trust of millions during one of the most terrifying periods in modern American history, but this was only the most recent of the global epidemics in which Dr. Fauci played a major role. His crucial role in researching HIV and bringing AIDS into sympathetic public view and his leadership in navigating the Ebola, SARS, West Nile, and anthrax crises, make him truly an American hero.

Dr Fauci’s fascinating story of hard work, persistence, knowledge, well thought out strategies and leadership during all of the pandemics, smallpox and anthrax threats to our nation during my life time was eye opening and fascinating.
My only sad take away is that he can’t live 100 more years and continue to lead our nation with truth and integrity.
Bravo Tony

The primary reader always drew out the last syllable of each sentence w a down turned tone no matter what was going on in the sentence. It was unnatural and distracting . But other than that, the narrators were good.

The book was well written, explained a lot of the behind the scenes double dealings and hate and switch going on, the threats to congressman and witnesses, and the committee and anyone else who got in Trumps way.
I don’t agree w many of Liz’s positions, but I admire her integrity.
