This was a great summer reading for me and my 2 boys, ages 12 & 11. For someone who's never heard of dyslexia or what it means, this is a great way to explain it to them. What its like to be dyslexic. The struggles. The hard work to overcome it. And how important it is to ask for help. Also to recognize that everybody makes mistakes, even the teachers. But to also recognize the extraordinary educators who takes the time to truly understand our youth. We love this book.

Imagine you're sitting on a cushion with your legs crossed, ready to tap into unlimited joy. There's just one problem: You can't get comfortable (let alone still), and your head is full of way too many thoughts. The problem is not with meditation, or you, though - the issue may be with your approach. When properly understood and practiced, meditation should feel easy, calming, and comfortable. In Bliss More, maverick instructor Light Watkins provides the tools for making it E.A.S.Y. (Embrace, Accept, Surrender, Yield).

Story
Contrary to popular belief, death is not a moment in time, such as when the heart stops beating, respiration ceases, or the brain stops functioning. Death, rather, is a process - a process that can be interrupted well after it has begun. Innovative techniques, such as drastically reducing the patient's body temperature, have proven to be effective in revitalizing both the body and mind, but studies show they are only employed in approximately half of the hospitals throughout the United States and Europe.

The storyline kept me hooked. Went through all kinds of emotion. Worried that the ending would be anti-climactic. Felt bad for Maddie and sad for their future. Made me wanna read all the books that she read. Made me want to visit Hawaii even more. didn't expect the ending even though I should have seen it coming. It's truly worth the read. Enjoyed it and the narrator immensely.
