The conclusion of the Mistborn trilogy fulfills all the promise of the first two books. Revelations abound, connections rooted in early chapters of the series click into place, and surprises, as satisfying as they are stunning, blossom like fireworks to dazzle and delight. 2nd time listening!
Reviewed: 11-03-22
I decided to reread/ listen to the mistborn series in preparation for the new book coming out in 2022. I’m a 42year old physician, and I absolutely loved the writing in this series. I cannot believe how much I’d forgotten about the hero of ages and all of its lore. You will love the approximately 75 hours of audio book listening you’ll get in the mistborn original 3 books. It will take you on a great adventure, and will have you hoping for long boring car drives just so you can get further along in the books!

Childish
Reviewed: 12-02-17
I suppose it has to be childish. It’s written from the view of a child. It’s different from his other stormlight books as this one is written entirely from one characters point of view. It’s helpful and enlightening as you learn a little more about the radiants, but I just don’t like the constant level of reading as if it’s written to amuse a 10 year old.

Story
You and a partner go into business together and split the equity 50/50. You do all the work and your partner slacks off. He owns half your business - now what? Slicing Pie outlines a process for calculating exactly the right number of shares each founder or employee in an early stage company deserves.
You will learn: How to value the time and resources an individual brings to the company relative to the contributions of others.

So simple and fair
Reviewed: 06-25-17
I have listen to slice of pie twice. This is since the idea for a new company has ever come to my mind and before I even organize my team. I am almost as excited about the grant fund and dynamic equity split as I am about my product that we have already invented now. We have a working prototype and I have loved as my engineer and designer has accrued probably a large portion of the pie. As our second and third phases roll out myself and others will have a greater role to play and so that dynamic equity will shift. It's beautifully simple. As we begin to integrate the fourth phase of our pie we will get to bring back our engineer and designer to help mass produce. It's an exciting venture and this book has made it much more simple.
