I loved that her sister narrated, I got an authentic voice that I really wanted to hear. Great narrating - I often will pass books I want to read/hear if My ear is not comfortable with the narrator. Story was excellent with more "take aways" than I can count. I also downloaded Headspace to give it a try as well as going to sleep much, much earlier than I had in the past. The stories shared are personal and heartfelt and extremely compassionate. I not only have recommended this book to friends but also posted it on my "page" on our companies internal social communication network too.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
To stand up for yourself, know your limitations and if need be walk away from a job when you find a better one. Be true to yourself.

The most important book I've ever read!
Reviewed: 03-19-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, any and every woman needs to read this book. There are certain things that every woman should have situated to secure financial support but if you have a child you are doing them a disservice if you do not have your affairs in order.
Women need to remember they are worth everything they own and save and securing their financial future is more important than any handbag or vacation.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Women & Money?
Will, Trust, living revocable trust and putting your family matters in a row. i know a family that was in a bad car accident and both parents and 1 kid was kidded but the other 2 children lived but are now confined to wheel chairs. the family parents didn't have a will and an awful lawsuit took into account to obtain the other 2 children. in addition, both children have NUMEROUS doctors bills now and the remaining family members are trying their best but have no legal recourse to obtain financial assistance.
Have you listened to any of Susan Denaker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not.... But Susan had great pronunciation and dramatic pauses were definately needed.
What did you learn from Women & Money that you would use in your daily life?
Financially savy. I have already set up my personal savings account and will be working toward claaring up my credit score. in addition, i don't have enough money for a lawyer to do the will and trust BUT the questions that should be asked by a good lawyer were extremely helpful!
Any additional comments?
Every single woman, stay at home mom, full time working mom, working student... need to read this book. I'm only 27 yrs old and feel that i've already wasted toooo much of my time and wealth. =( Thank you Suze, Thank you!
- And thank you Susan for helping get her words across so eliquently. I wanted to read the abridged version but then realized how much I would be losing in content. I didn't miss a thing from the performance... Susan you were great!

Must read if you're serious about getting down to

What made the experience of listening to The Intelligent Entrepreneur the most enjoyable?
TONS of facts. The different stories between Mark, Chris and Marla where very good.
What did you like best about this story?
You can tell the author did his homework on all 3 of the characters in the books. And it sounds like he compiled more about themselves then they really knew was going on during the start of their businesses. I liked that each character showed range in their personal life and carrer story AND he told 3 different stories.
What does Fred Berman and L. J. Ganser bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The read was very fast. With the amount of content that was just in the first part I believe it would have taken me a lot longer to read this book. I do read hardcover books continually but this one I chose as an audio book and i'm glad.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
i did laugh out loud several times. i found myself truly listening to the different stories!
Any additional comments?
I'm looking foward to finishing the 2nd part of the book. I'm also looking to get in contact with Marla if you can point me in the right direction. She, is what I want in a mentor!

What does David Sedaris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Just maybe, Me Talk Pretty One Day??
Any additional comments?
Absolutely LOVE hearing David Sedaris and the way he reads his words. I do think that Santa Land diaries would have been slightly more enjoyable (if that's possible) if the over head announcements where done by David's voice and he was more intertwined. What did you love best about Finance Your Business?
I will use this book as a reference for many years. As a young woman especially this gave me a great foundation to start and continue with my future goals. The language was concise and direct and more accurate than many of the seminars I've attended over the last few years.
What did you like best about this story?
It was direct and the explanations were great. They weren't too winded and it was in common language so everyone, especially those dedicated truly have a road map. I liked the enthusiastic reading also.
Have you listened to any of Deaver Brown’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't.... but I would read/ listen to other subject matters from Mr. Brown.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I have an 11 month old and I'm a full time working mom. There was no way that I could listen or read a book in one sitting.
Book marking the chapters on my Kindle made it easy to find where I left off.
Any additional comments?
I don't think there's anything wrond with self promotion. I think at the end of the audio book there should have been a
