They found a planet where none belonged. They should have left it alone. This audiobook includes the first four missions in the Black Ocean: Astral Prime series.

More like a mini series
Reviewed: 06-11-19
Same universe as the Mobius series same great narrator. The former felt much more like several seasons of episodes this felt more like a four part mini series. I enjoyed both greatly. The Mobius series was more fun and reminded me of Farscape with a mixture of Firefly and Red Dwarf.
Astral Prime is more serious. It touches on racism sexism spirituality a heavy dose of politics and more. It was enjoyable and they did a great job building the characters. Do you remember the remake Battle star Galactica near the end when they found the planet that’s the same line that this took.

Story
Having two of his fingers cut off at an early age hadn't done much to make Xandrith an agreeable fellow. Besides marking him as a pariah and having him shunned by even his own family, it had also hurt. A lot. Being stripped of a few of his fingers and cast out of the Order of Mages had left him bitter and angry, but if there was any consolation to be had it was that he was doing rather well in his new line of work. While perforating people for money might not have been the most noble of callings, it was quite lucrative.

D&D campaign
Reviewed: 01-10-16
What did you like best about Chaos Awakens Trilogy? What did you like least?
This is a story straight out of a D&D campaign it is giving me plenty of good ideas for my next adventure as a story not so much. You can almost here the folks joking and arguing about their dice rolls Cassie must have missed several sessions
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Haven't got there yet, just started the second book. but I bet I can guess how it'll end.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Monotone southern drawl thats nearly identical for all the characters
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Might be able to make a movie out of it
Any additional comments?
I'll finish it but only because I have so many hours to do so.
