Story
From 2010 to 2020, more people participated in protests than at any other point in human history. Yet we are not living in more just and democratic societies as a result. IF WE BURN is a stirring work of history built around a single, vital question: How did so many mass protests lead to the opposite of what they asked for?

A great book read well. This was fun and terrifying all at once, a fantastic mix of fact and fiction that helped this lit major better understand some of science’s toughest concepts.

While maybe some of it is out of date, this short history lives up to its name. And, more history than textbook, it focuses more on how we figured out a bit of everything meaning the stories and lessons live forever. Super entertaining, well-delivered, and educational, this is what an audiobook is meant to be!

Great read, dated tale

Incredible performance, dated eco-nationalist politics. Listen for the boyhood adventures and drop on how to be a king. It’s super fun to listen to, though!
