Great narration. Characters were nicely developed but story come to a fast conclusion. Had an opportunity to have more depth and intrigue. Somewhat predictable but did keep me listening to the end.

Not as expected
Reviewed: 08-14-20
Started off great. Loved hearing about Sully’s early life and his flight path. Narration is great. However as great as what Sully did, the story turns and goes on and on and on about how great he is and all the special privileges he automatically started receiving once he was a celebrity. This was a huge turnoff and disappointment.

An underpaid, overworked certified flight instructor cheats death while attempting to teach a cast of incompetent student pilots to fly at a skeezy South Florida flight school; all in the quest to build flight time so he can get a “real job” at an airline. The planes break, the regs break, metal gets bent, students are lost at sea, and a Top Gun wannabe student, who has 400 hours of flight instruction, still hasn’t made his first solo flight.

Could of been better
Reviewed: 06-26-20
The book contained a “few” funny stories about a flight instructors experience with students but spent far too much time talking in detail about the “poor” life of a flight instructor. Waste of time to hear all about poor college life. Would of liked to hear several funny stories of different students rather then the same 3-4 students the author references. Good reading performance, very average story.
