Story
Last summer, The New Yorker published chef Anthony Bourdain's shocking, "Don't Eat Before Reading This." Now, the author uses the same "take-no-prisoners" attitude in his deliciously funny and shockingly delectable audiobook, sure to delight gourmands and philistines alike.

What made the experience of listening to Kitchen Confidential the most enjoyable?
I loved his own narration and the way he tells it from experience. The terms he uses and the way he empathizes things in the sentences. Really loved the story from growing up and spending time in France and the long and hard road he walked to become what he is now.
I love his show No Reservations and I have the hardcover books also but with him reading it, its much more fun.
What other book might you compare Kitchen Confidential to and why?
Medium Raw, follow up on his culinary adventures. Great book also but less bio.
What about Anthony Bourdain’s performance did you like?
The way he narrates, it just sounds good. His voice didnt become irritating or boring. The way he uses tones and empathizes some words. Also his italian, spanish and french terms he uses with such ease. Not to mention the swearing in the book...good that its not edited.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
From the gutters to glitz.
