This book need to tbe listened to or read by every American. We are told that we must trust and believe in America, should we continually go blindly into that night? The US government has become more secretive than it has in the last half of the 20th century and call it national security. Have we finally lost our way and our soul in our effort to build a new world order? Many nations have tried this in the past and failed, from the Romans to the present must America learn the same leason? You want to be in charge you will pay the in charge price as all nations in the past have learned.

I know Pearl Harbor is a touchy subject for many but this audio give one something to consider when looking back at historic events. To think that governments won't distroy their own citizens or citizens of other nations to achieve an outcome or further their own ambitions is a fools game. We get only once to go around in this human life, it is so much better to question everything, least we wake up and find that we have been thrust back into the dark ages. There is not excuse for not seeking truth in an information and especially a technological age. If we continue to not get it right we will suceed in destroying ourselves and we will accomplish that by repeating Earth's history to our regret.

I enjoyed the Dreaming Void especially the performance by the narrator, Peter Hamilton, he handles the characters well. Overall the Dreaming Void Trilogy series is good reading for the ears it hold ones attention as the story progresses. That said the story is the same old theme and the same old lines, earthling’s tired interpretation of the future with a smattering of singularity (the long lived human machine) to give us enough time to repeat the same stupidity of the human race. I wish someone would write a truly original story of the future without the following: Earthling domination of space and other sentient beings; give us you planet’s resources or else and our all-time favorite, resist us and we will enslave you or wipe you out. Remember we only have one functioning planet in this star system and we have yet to change for the better. Would we be surprised if we came in contact with sentient beings in the multiverses that live multiple thousands of years, genetically heal their entire body; have acute five senses; they are living weapons with access to the whole multiverses and act as one. What will we do then? Please authors come up with better storylines.

I enjoy Ray Bradbury short stories all ways have this collection fits the bill for me. The narrator does a very good job interpreting the individual stories and the characters in each story. The collection contain topics that range from subtle to, “that was different”, suspense also stories that are other worldly, futuristic and a twist on a 20th century character (Hitler) in Darling Adolf and the suspense of family life as a man plots against his wife in The October Game. Other stories I really liked are: The Miracles of Jamie; A Story of Love and especially Interval in Sunlight a man with a robotic wife he intended to destroy. On a whole the entire Audio is worth the listen and yes I have listened to it in its entirety more than once as I have listened to other Bradbury audible stories. Check it out you might find you like it.

I once owned the Canterbury Tales but I gave it to my local library when I moved, I really liked Canterbury but I did not have the time to reread them, Audio Books makes it possible for me to enjoy this collection again. Thirty travelers, from many walks of life, on a pilgrimage to the shrine at Canterbury are invited by the Tabard Inn keeper to tell stories that he will judge in exchange for a free meal when the winner returns. The travelers tell their stories covering many topics which are narrated by Martin Jarvis and Jay Carnes both doing justice to Geoffrey Chaucer works. This version of Canterbury is worth hearing and one I will come back to in the future, it is a keeper.

I really like this Bradbury series, I have listened to it over and over and recognize some of the books the stories are taken from. I enjoy dramatized stories and own a number of old time radio stories, if only Bradbury had more like this I would buy them.
