I absolutely loved this book!!! I am a retired operating room nurse..the story was a wonderful historical journey about a place I loved for 33 years..the story made me realize the history that I also witnessed..the characters and their stories were superb!!!

This is an excellent story! Unfortunately, the author reading the book does not have enough range in his voice for the multiple characters. I listen to lots of narrated books and this book should be read or hire a professional narrator. I am not saying this to be hurtful just honest criticism.
