Story
Zevon Lang has always been a misfit and an outcast, but he’s just met the love of his life. Lila is beautiful, fun, intelligent, and sensual...she also lives at the bottom of a lake and hungers for human flesh and blood. But is she even real or just a figment of his twisted mind? His loyalty will be tested as a stunning young veterinarian Claire Carpenter moves to his small town. Her purity and goodness is the antidote for the moral conflict raging inside of him. But it might be too late to wash the blood from his hands and redeem his tormented soul.

Awesome twists and turns

Jesse has a way of driving me crazy. He is an awesome author who keeps you on the edge of your seat in the book. Just when you think you have things figured out and know what’s going to happen… Jesse throws in another twist. Right up to the last page at the end of the book. I loved this book and can’t recommend it enough. But be prepared for a wild ride… I can’t wait to read his other books.
