Story
Fast track up the political ladder, fast cars, fast women - that's Garrett McKettrick. Make that was. A city boy, Garrett doesn't think he has the land in his blood, but a scandal has brought him home to Blue River, Texas. Here he meets his former high school nemesis, Julie Remington. Good thing they have nothing in common... except their undeniable attraction and a future brighter than the Texas sun.

Too much chuckling

I started a drinking game with this one. Take a drink anytime someone “chuckles.” 🤷🏻♀️ still great story and performance. Love the series!

Story
Meg McKettrick longs for a baby...husband optional. Perfect father material is gorgeous Brad O'Ballivan, old flame and new owner of his family's ranch in Stone Creek. But Meg, as strong, proud, and stubborn as her ancestors on Indian Rock's Triple M ranch, wants to do things her way: the McKettrick way. And Brad feels just as strongly about the O'Ballivan way.

Voice actor ruined this one

I love all of Linda L Miller’s books, but I couldn’t finish this one. The voice actor was just horrible. I’m so used to the wonderful actors used for the rest of her books, and this one was just unbearable. Also, the whole Angus as a ghost thing was just... weird.
