Masterfully crafted

Two wonderful stories alternately told that take place in different times and place that masterfully meld together in the end but not necessarily as you may think. The character development brings the them to life and you feel they are real. Very worth the read. A great book.

I love this style of Dean Koontz. It's full of action and suspense with a quirky sense of humor. I love this story. I was held on the edge of my seat and laughed out load many times. You will really enjoy this one. Quite a surprising ending. You won't see it coming but you will enjoy how it ends.

Story
One of the most salient features of our culture is that there is so much bulls**t. Everyone knows this. Each of us contributes his share. But we tend to take the situation for granted. Most people are rather confident of their ability to recognize bulls**t and to avoid being taken in by it. So the phenomenon has not aroused much deliberate concern. We have no clear understanding of what bulls**t is, why there is so much of it, or what functions it serves.

This book was verbose and totally pointless. There was nothing funny about it.
