The story was very engaging. I had to listen to it at least twice, and the best thing of all, as a Christian myself, there was no foul language. Highly recommended.

The accident changed everything...One moment, Lieutenant Jake Slate was going about his duties aboard the ballistic missile submarine, USS Colorado. The next second, he was sprawled on the deck plates in a spreading puddle of blood and hydraulic fluid. But it wasn't the injury that ruined his life and doomed his military career. It was the rescue effort. Now he's being thrown to the wolves to cover up the misdeeds of a superior officer, and Jake doesn't care for the role of sacrificial lamb.

I like this book I listened to it more then twice. The only drawback I had, was the explicitly of the captains over graphic wording use of his sexual conquest in the cave. But in all I liked this book. “Go NAVY” 😏

I found this book to be quite funny at times. Because as I was a paramedic for 30 years both in the military and as a civilian. I was able to answer the questions before he asked them. Brings back good memories.

Information in this book was awesome, however the narrator narrator spoke way too fast. I had to slow the speech speed down almost at half normal listening speed just to understand what is being said. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to obtain their HAM radio license.
