Story
On a planet where life is cheap, in a city built on corruption, very few things are considered holy. The Landing Site is one of them. The remains of the century-old habitat pod—which delivered the colonists to the only barely habitable place on the cruel world of Croatoan—has become a monument to the hardscrabble people who somehow survived the unsurvivable. So when blood is shed on that sacred ground, it’s seen as an attack against the entire colony.

As far as audible originals go this is second all time behind “we are Bob” and a bit better than Andy Weir ‘s collection of short stories. Yes these two Audible Originals from Larry is that good. Can’t wait for the next one

I really live this series. Usually the humor in series like this gets repetitive and old but that is not the case. Martha has just made the character development much more complex and interesting. Great new chapter in the series. I loved it.

Story
Sci-fi's favorite antisocial AI is back on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah's SecUnit is. And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good. Martha Wells' Rogue Protocol is the third in the Murderbot Diaries series, starring a humanlike android who keeps getting sucked back into adventure after adventure, though it just wants to be left alone, away from humanity and small talk.

The plot is about class divisions , conflict between the lowest class and highest. The top endorser it is learned was from the untouchables class, lowest. The caste system s system where the lowest class are considered non people and treated horribly.

He needn't have bothered with any character names, as there was no telling the characters apart, and really not any reason to. We just have these two dysfunctional, co-dependent civilizations getting into fights and going to war with each other over and over again, until I finally started rooting for the asteroid to come along and end it all.
