Story
Bailey is a young, aspiring actress that has never had a real acting job besides a role in a high school play. But when she sees an ad for a production that takes place in 1954, she decides to take a chance. The only thing she knows is that it is fully immersive, and would require her to live in the fictional town for one full year. The rules are simple, stay in character and she gets a nice payout of more than one hundred thousand dollars. But would a black woman willingly live in the 50s?

Can’t get enough

Ms Peace stories are always unique, interesting and entertaining. I love this story so much. I had to make myself slow down and take my time because I knew I was going to be sad when I finished.
I’m ready to listen to all over again.
Adenrele Ojo, you’ve done it again. I was so excited to know you were the narrator. I often look for audiobooks that you are involved with. You did and outstanding job as usual.
I hope there’ll be a part 2.

Soon her suspicions are confirmed when she learns that Christy has the furthest thing from good intentions. She wants Adam back, and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get him, including turning Adam’s pack against Mercy.

Sci fi + romance= excellent

This story has everything I love. A strong black female protagonist, action, science fiction and romance. Listening to this novel feels like watching a movie and you'll lose yourself in the story and enjoy every minute. The narration by Steven Cohen added to the excitement.
Thank you Pepper Pace for another excellent read.
