The very wrong science was highly distracting. The femur is a leg bone not an arm bone. Cause of death is difficult to determine on skeletal remains because you don't have soft tissue which is where you would see bruising, lacerations, etc.

This second installment of the the Luna Thorne series gave us some nice progression of the story. We know more about Luna's powers but have a lot of new questions about what she is supposed to be doing.

This book continues to follow the threads of the longer arc. Lots of hints but not much real information though more substantial progress should pay out in the next book. Another good self contained demon hunt.

This book is a good start series, it has plenty of longer arc threads to make you want to pick up the next book and a good self contained story line for the book.

The Avery Shaw books are some of the best Amanda writes. This one doesn't disappoint, plenty of snark and sass along with dealing with the outcome of the previous book.

The only bad thing about this book is that it had to end. It is going to be an excruciating wait for the next book. Such a great introduction to Saber Rose and so many questions I can't wait to see answered.

I love how Annette Marie allows us to see events from different perspectives while still giving us completely new stories to enjoy. This book gave us a chance to see some of our favorite Crow and Hammer members while exploring some new aspects of the events we have already seen unfold in Tori and Robin's stories.

Avery is probably my favorite character in Amanda's books. I know this series doesn't get as much love as her paranormal series do but the characters are great and so are the stories. This one was no exception.

Good story, plenty of action and a great nod to Terry Prachett's Discworld novels. Cliffhanger ending.
