Joys of Looping.

Once you have had some time to work with the If/Then statements, it is time to work with the process of looping. Looping can be a really useful programming technique when you work in VBA because it will allow you to go through many ranges quickly and efficiently without using a lot of extra code. Basically, if you would like the code to re-read the same part, without having to write the code over again, then you will want to use looping. A good example of this when you are working in coding is if you would like to make a multiplication table. You do not want to go through and write out a code that says one times one, one times two, and so on until the end of your multiplication table. This would take forever to write out and will make a mess of your code. Working with loops can allow you to do the same thing with just one or two lines of code, rather than hundreds.

Before I took this audible, I bought a book about vba, never started to learn with it. This audiobook made it very easy to start using vba and to create useful tools for your own work.

When one project is done, the Sprint Retrospective meeting happens. That is when the Scrum Team meets up and discusses any constructive criticism or issues that might have happened during the project timeline. By figuring out the issues at this moment, they can prevent any future ones of the same natures from happening again.

Into the technology

To understand the right type of data you are going to want to target, it is important to understand that it primarily comes in two forms, those that are structured, such as traditional databases, and those that are unstructured, things like social media networks or phone applications that rely on data sent over the internet. With so much data to keep track of, you may find it helpful to set up an automated method of collection when it comes to your daily transaction output to ensure that any future analysis is done with data that is as straight from the source as possible. This, in turn, means that you will need to determine the right database structure for the data that you are going to be retrieving and the way you are going to want to access it later if you hope to see the best results. Choosing the right type of database for your business is an important choice and one which is discussed several times in the following pages. However, if you instead plan on determining the current public sentiment that your customers have towards your business, then you are going to want to analyze online applications and social media profiles, the two places that people are prone to leaving feedback in the ever-connected world of the twenty-first century.

According to Nielsen, comScore, SmartInsights, MediaKix, Pew Research Center, etc., on an average, people spend about or over 4 hours on the phone daily. ComScore in its 2017 Cross platform Future in Focus report says that on the average, an American adult spends almost 3 hours using the smartphone daily. This is approximately 86 hours per month. So much time has been shifted to the use of smart phones while less and less time is used on laptop and desktop computers with the mobile device accounting for about 65% of the total digital media usage. Further reports provided by eMarketer in 2016 in their mobile research report claims that the total time spent by mobile device users is 4 hrs 5 mins a day. Flurry on the other hand showed that US consumers spend well over 5 hours using mobile devices with about 86% of the total time taken off by smart phones per day. Past - showed 4 hours, 40 mins mobile phone daily use. Judging from the reports, it can be observed that Flurry’s report is closely aligned with eMarketer’s report. Also, according to MediaKix, these top five social media platforms take 1 hour, 56 minutes of our time per day - Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. To summarize this, it can be rightly concluded that from the various reports, although it is difficult to actually figure out the exact time spent on mobile phones, it is obvious that the time spent is over four hours per day.
