Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Money poisons, more than drugs.
Reviewed: 10-15-24
Well the story is certainly sad. Lisa Marie had a bizarre, weird, spoiled life that seemed to be totally void of meaning aside from spending all the money from the estate of her father. This man, that man, this mansion that mansion...no education. Did not even graduate high school. She was also a bad mother. If you want to hear a story about a life devoid of meaning this is for you. Her daughter Riley seems to be highly intelligent and I hope she is able to have a better life. I will be returning this title, not interested in adding to this woman's fortune basically from nothing. Money does NOT buy happiness...for this family it bought addiction, insane living environments, suicide, and death.

Story
Behind the curtain of her happy on-screen persona, Valerie Bertinelli’s life has been no easy ride, especially when it comes to her own self-image and self-worth. She waged a war against herself for years, learning to equate her value to her appearance as a child star on One Day at a Time and punishing herself in order to fit into the unachievable Hollywood mold. She struggled to make her marriage to Eddie Van Halen—the true love of her life—work, despite all the rifts the rock-star lifestyle created between them.

Added politics opinion not relevant to story. Wish I could get credit for. Did not chose this for a political opinion.

Enough Already is the perfect title!

Tired of liberal garbage being injected into absolutely every aspect of life. Was a fan, no longer. Will not watch her shows or buy any more books or cookbooks. Book would have been really ok leaving all that out. Totally unnecessary to the story. Here is some "equity" for you. I am getting a refund.

Honest Account

It is obvious Robyn Crawford is a very honest, open, kind, caring individual who deeply loved her friend. I believe her accounting, as she showed true love for Whitney and has no reason to lie. I wish I would be so lucky to have a friend like Robyn.

Story
One of 12 children raised in a shack in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Dolly Parton grew to become an international superstar. She is a reflection of the American dream, a role model for the ages, and a mentor to a whole new generation of entertainers. There is much to be learned from her unique brand, her big heart and spirituality, her grit and work ethic, which prompt the question, "What Would Dolly Do?" This lively collection - part biography, part inspiration, part words of wisdom and life lessons - highlights the very best of the "Dolly Mama".

Fan of Dolly but not of this book

I could not get past chapter 4 of this. Annoying narration, silly content. Page after page of how to apply makeup like a drag queen. Returned
