Set 100 years in the future, the book opens with the wedding of two female friends - Kendra (Ken) Foster-Briggs, exotic actress and film producer and Aiyana Cassidy (Cass), half Irish/half Native American graduate from MIT with a doctorate in optical engineering to Derek James, a man of independent means. The only problem is, instead of the reverend marrying them, he pulls a gun on them, forcing them to run like hell.

A Tubular Ride

I found this story very interesting, the beginning started sort of slow for me personally, but once you get invested there becomes so much of the world to enjoy. The Cass and Ken are the stars of the show and bring the narrative to life.
I found myself enjoying the worldbuilding most of all. Adam does a great job at including elements from all sorts of time periods and also describes things in a way that is easy to understand.
I can’t wait for the next book!
