Story
Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

A Hit for Me!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would recommend this book. I really enjoyed hearing this story in the first person voice of the male lead character. I thought the story line was fresh and new and really kept me interested.Since these are high school students, some adults may not like the subject matter but I think its a good representation of what goes through a teenagers mind. The main character is definitely a boy I would allow daughter to date. Prologue was a little unexpected and I think the author could have done more to tie it into the story somewhere but didn't take away from my enjoyment;. I was disapppointed it ended actually...check it out!
What other book might you compare Finding Cinderella to and why?
Can't think of one. The story was unlike any other I've seen so far.
What does Jason Carpenter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I thought he did a great job of expressing the main characters feelings.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Spoiler...toward the end when Daniel tells his best friend he loves him and he's not ashamed to tell him. I thought it was great to hear that from a male character. That's what friendship should be like. They supported each other throughout the story.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed it. Listened to it in 2 sittings. Never boring or drawn out plotlines. SImple, sweet, to the point and a really enjoyable listen.

Story
The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Where does Entwined With You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Love the series and characters. The performance by Jill redfield is the best of all I've heard. She's great. But I can't believe how this last one ended. I feel totally ripped off. And to add an authors note at the end basically saying, ha ha I know u feel ripped off, makes it even worse. It feels like she was rushed to turn the book in so she just stopped mid story. I would expect a few things to be left to create interest for the next book but this was a little too much. So as jealous and possessive as Ava and gideon are they choose to leave this major issue unresolved...come on. Not to mention the fact that they are in the middle of a huge charade with all family, best friends and the detectives. And what's up with magumi??? Why even start that storyline... Bottom line...how long will we wait for the answers..... I definitely feel cheated with this one. Absolutely nothing except the status of their relationship has been resolved in this issue. Nathans death...magumis mysterious absences...karins "situation"...avas parents indiscretion and her mothers secrets...the "engagement"...Kerries "situation"...Brett...too many loose ends to feel satisfaction. A rather intentional action by Sylvia day to drum up sales for book no.4 seems kind of sleazy if u ask me and I am seriously considering NOT buying it just for that reason. Well see if my curiosity wins out and if I even care anymore by the time the next one is out... I mean the sex scenes are becoming monotanous..we know they are attracted to each other by now...
If you’ve listened to books by Sylvia Day before, how does this one compare?
5 out of ten because of loose ends
What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She's excellent.

Story
Thousands of people have had near-death experiences, but scientists have argued that they are impossible. Dr. Eben Alexander was one of those scientists. Neurosurgeon Alexander knew that NDEs feel real, but are simply fantasies produced by brains under extreme stress. Then, Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness. The part of the brain that controls thought and emotion shut down completely. For seven days he lay in a coma. Then Alexander’s eyes popped open. He had come back. Alexander’s recovery is a medical miracle. But the real miracle of his story lies elsewhere.

Would you consider the audio edition of Proof of Heaven to be better than the print version?
I've never read the print version. I'm lazy - and I also like to listen while driving.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well Eben Alexander of course. The fact that he is a scientific professional who had this experience is just more proof of the fact that our life here on earth is not the end. Whether you call it heaven or another realm of consciousness, I think it's all the same. And I think if more people would listen and believe this it would give them peace and understanding and maybe make them want to make this life better.
Which character – as performed by Eben Alexander – was your favorite?
Himself
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have liked to, but didn't have the time. I did finish it within two or three days though.

Like his father before him, Brian Holloway is a safe man. That is, his specialty is opening safes. Every job is a little mystery, and he has yet to encounter a lock he can't break or a box he can't crack. But the day Holloway gets called in to open a rare, antique safe in a famous author's library, his skills open a door that should have remained closed.
